Barrow-in-Furness is gearing up for an exciting rock and roll music night that promises to bring energy and fresh sounds to the local music scene. On Friday, May 22, The Killone will host a rock night featuring four bands, including the headline act Löser, known for their Motörhead tribute and newly released original music. This event offers a unique opportunity for rock fans and music lovers in the area to experience a diverse lineup in one evening.

The event kicks off at 7 pm and runs for about four and a half hours, giving attendees plenty of time to enjoy each band’s performance. Tickets are priced at £5 if booked in advance, or £10 at the door, making it an affordable night out for fans of heavy music.
The lineup includes:
Löser: The headline band, famous for their Motörhead tribute act, has expanded their repertoire to include original songs. They are set to release an album on May 10 featuring three original tracks alongside three covers.
Bay of Pigs: The first band of the night and one of the support acts making their debut performance in Barrow. Bay of Pigs are a thrash metal band from Carlisle currently working on their first recording at the moment.
Ego Trip: Another fresh face for the local audience. Ego Trip are from west Cumbria in Egremont and they will be bringing their unique grunge original music styles to the stage. You can find their first album release "The Water" on Bandcamp.
TBK (NOT "Them Bloody Kids!"): A Carlisle-based band whose name comes from the initials of the founding members. They are not an acronym related to children as accidentally reported incorreclty by The Mail. TBK will be main support on the night and they will provide their prog-rock-metal infused talents for wide audience appeal.
This event marks the first time these bands will perform in Barrow, adding to the excitement and anticipation.
Löser’s New Album and Unique Tribute
Löser’s upcoming E.P. release "Born Lösers" will be released just days before the event. This release blends covers with new original material offering fans a taste of both nostalgia and fresh sounds.
The band’s initiative to organize this show in collaboration with Cumbria Animal and Hen Rescue adds a community-driven aspect to the event. It’s not just about music but also supporting local causes, which makes the night even more meaningful. All of the bands are donating their time and any and all proceeds from the night to the charity.
