Live music is unpredictable.

Gear breaks. Strings snap. Power cuts out... but every now and then, something happens that takes things to a completely different level.

During a show at the House of Blues, Swedish Motörhead tribute band Ironhörse found themselves in exactly that situation a fire broke out above the venue, forcing the gig to be stopped and the building evacuated.

Watch what happened

A real rock ‘n’ roll moment

It’s the kind of thing you joke about happening… until it actually does.

Mid-set, everything changes. The focus shifts instantly from the music to safety, and just like that, the night is over.

Thankfully, everyone got out safely, and no one was hurt, but it’s a reminder of just how unpredictable live shows can be.

More than just the music

Moments like this are part of touring life that people don’t always see.

It’s not just the performances, it’s everything around them. The chaos, the unexpected, the stories you end up telling long after the amps have cooled down.

Ironhörse handled it like pros, and it’s safe to say this is one gig nobody in that room will forget anytime soon.

If you’ve ever been at a show where something completely unexpected happened, you’ll know exactly the kind of energy this creates.

And if not… well, now you’ve seen one.
