Löser “Motörize” a Classic – Damn Your Eyes (Live in Carlisle)

Sometimes you take a risk with a song—and sometimes it pays off in a big way.


At our first hometown show in Carlisle on May 9, 2024, we decided to do something a little different. Instead of sticking purely to Motörhead material, we took the Etta James classic “Damn Your Eyes” and gave it the full Löser treatment… or as we like to call it - Motörized.


The result? A heavy, gritty reimagining of a jazz/blues standard that somehow feels right at home turned up loud.


To make it even more special, we were joined by Poppy Jean Rowan, whose vocal performance brought a whole new dimension to the track. It’s one thing to experiment with a song like this - but having the right voice on it made all the difference.


The performance took place at The Source Collective, as part of a fundraiser for local rehearsal and recording hub Wreck Studio Services—a space that supports countless bands in the area.

This is the kind of thing we love doing - taking influences from different places and smashing them together into something loud, raw, and honest.
