There’s something special about a hometown gig and this one meant a lot to us.

Back on May 9, 2024, Löser hit the stage at The Source Collective in Carlisle for our first proper hometown show. Not only was it a packed night of live music, but it was all in support of a great cause - raising funds for Wreck Studio Services, a space that plays a vital role in keeping the local music scene alive.

In this video, we’re performing “Killed By Death”, one of the most iconic tracks from Motörhead’s catalogue. It’s a song that perfectly captures the raw, unapologetic energy that inspired this band in the first place and one we love bringing to the stage.

On this special evening we were joined on stage by none other than Poppy Jean Rowan, the manager of The Source Collective, and a super talented vocalist providing her power to our set.

The night also featured strong sets from local originals:

  • Someone Else’s Radio

  • Before The Gods

It was a brilliant reminder of how much talent there is in the Cumbria scene and how important it is to support grassroots venues and studios.

Whether you were there on the night or you’re discovering us for the first time, we hope this gives you a taste of what Löser is all about—loud amps, no nonsense, and a deep love for rock ’n’ roll.

If you enjoyed the video, make sure to check out the rest of the live performances on the channel—and keep an eye out for more shows, recordings, and community content coming soon.
